Participants will be introduced to and will discuss and use the various elements of The AND Model to develop a standards-based, project-based learning unit which they can implement in their classroom
Time Frame - 40 days (June 17 - August 5)
Professional Development Credits - Illinois teachers will receive 12 CPDU's for the successful completion of this course. Teachers from states other than Illinois may also be eligible for Professional Development Credits. When a teacher registers for the course, Educational Dividends will investigate this option for the teacher.

Content: Teachers Will Identify What Students Will Learn and How That Learning Will Be Evaluated |
| 4 a: Reflection |
How Do You Plan to Evaluate Success - Teachers Have an Opportunity to Discuss the Assignment |
| Unit 5: Fuel |
Resources: Teachers Will Identify the Resources Available As Well As Those That are Not Available but Necessary and/or Desired |
| Unit 6: Train |
Implementation Strategy: Teachers Will Outline Their Projects Following the Problem Solving Model |
| 6 a: Wow! Factor |
Lesson Plans: Teachers Will Develop Lesson Plans Following the Implementation Strategy. Lesson Plans Should Include the Wow! Factor - Technology, Teams, Performance, etc |
| 6 b: Online Collaboration |
Peer Review: In Teams of 2-3, Teachers Will Review Their Own and Their Team Members Outlines |
| Unit 7: Final Project |
Submit Final Project: Teachers Will Finalize Their Learning Unit and Submit it for Review |
